Our History...
Language Reflections began with the occasional translation request for our founder, Christine Frederick. Pleased with her quality of work, requests increased in volume and scope to the point that a team of translators and editors was established to meet project needs. Now we have grown to the point that we have expanded our activities to include a variety of specialty translation and interpreting services. (Please go to the interpreting part of our web site to learn more about that service.) We trust that you will find us developed enough to meet your project needs yet small enough to provide personal communication and first-class service.
Our Translators...
Christine Frederick grew up in a German-speaking household in the United States and was educated in both the U.S. and Germany in biological sciences, chemistry, medical school and linguistics. She has a natural talent for language and the rare combination of her skills and education make her both an excellent translator and interpreter. Christine met Silke Haidekker after both had been translating on their own for several years. They immediately became friends and started working together. Their combined education, skills and background is a perfect match. Silke grew up and was educated in Germany. She has also worked for the pharmaceutical industry in both Germany and in the U.S. Together Christine and Silke work to give you the best combination of German to English and English to German translations, each having the ability to edit each other's work both easily and with a high level of expertise.
